Agri-wallet and SNV sign LOI to expand to reach 3 million small holder farmers and agri-food SME’s. Maike van Ginneken, CEO SNV and Sijmen de Hoogh, CEO Agri-wallet signed a LOI in which the intention between parties is outlined to scaling inclusive agri-finance to 3 million small holder farmers and Agri-food SME’s.
Agri-wallet organized a field trip for Wiebe Draijer, CEO Rabobank, Berry Marttin Managing Board member to Molly Flowers farm in Limuru, Kenya. The farmers were able to share their experiences and growth of revenue in using Agri-Wallet. Molly Flowers grows potatoes and buys from smallholder farmers using Agri-wallet. Also present were Marianne Schoemaker, MD van Rabo Partnerships and David Gerbrands as well as Kees Verbeek from Rabobank Rep. Office Kenya and Albert Boogaard, Head Innovation at Rabobank Foundation.

2SCALE and Agri-wallet have signed a MOU in which they express their intention to scale to 250,000 farmers in the 2SCALE program.
Agri-wallet marks another milestone of 20,000 farmers in June 2019, this comes after the initial 10,000 farmers who were in our systems by close of last year December 2018.
